I took the TDI Tec Sidemount course with Daren and I can honestly say my confidence, skills and abilities improved dramatically. Daren offered the course in a clear, concise and personalised format. The first time dive experience for my 13 yr old son (Thai national) and myself (long time resident) couldn't have been better. Before our day trip we went to the shop in Rawai so my son could get familiar with the equipment, he was made to feel at ease with a 15 minute dive (free) in the pool under the watchful eye of Justin who gave him a quick run down on the basics, do's and don'ts, also some tips to make the whole experience even more enjoyable. Safety is obviously the top of their priority's list and this was reflected in the way our instructor (Born) conducted herself before, during and after each dive in an extremely professional, approachable and friendly manner, my son and I felt totally at ease the entire day. Amazing dives, great food, lovely location and a very comfortable boat. Our experience with Local dive from start to finish was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We'll definitely go diving with them again!

Our divemaster Pai was fantastic! He really made the trip an awesome trip for my partner and i. He took over 200 epic photos and videos of us in the sea e.g. with barracudas and batfish surrounding us. Pai did everything with a big smile on his face and briefed us very clearly on what to expect, communication was great and he always made sure to de-fog our masks prior to each dive (sometimes its just the small things eh!). The entire dive trip to Racha islands was very well organised from hotel pickup, drop off, boat ride, food and dive equipment. Highly recommend and will dive with them again. Pricing was also very reasonable to win win win!

I had my padi advanced course here. Everything was super easy to understand and the online theory course made my life so much easier. Both the instructors were professional and fun. We went to really amazing dive sites on all these dives. I've wanted to do wreck diving as one of my specialty, but there's only one wreck in the region and the schedule didn't include that. Nevertheless, we really see amazing stuff down there and I can only advise that you go and take the plunge with them.
